Dean Outhouse

Dean recently joined Piscataqua Landscaping & Tree Service as the Manager of Winter Operations, after having been in the commercial snow & ice management industry for over twenty-five years.  Dean brings a great deal of knowledge to the Piscataqua team through his experience and education. He is a ’98 graduate from the University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business, where he received his B.S. in Business Administration. He went on to achieve SIMA’s (Snow and Ice Management Association) Certified Snow Professional in 2007, as well as the designation of SIMA’s Advanced Snow Manager in 2022.

In 2014, he was awarded New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Green SnowPro Certified Master Salt Applicator. Dean serves as a trainer for the NH DES Green SnowPro Program, and a member of SIMA’s editorial committee for the Snow Business magazine.  Over the years, Dean has made a concerted effort to reduce the environmental impact of winter operations. “Snow and ice will always be snow and ice, but with all the current innovations, there is absolutely no reason snow removal can’t be part of the green revolution.”  Outside of work, Dean enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter; snowmobiling, hunting, and working on the family farm.
