John Ockerbloom

John has been active with local area businesses and in the global business community for more than 36 years. He has a BS in Forest Resources, minor in Entomology, from the University of New Hampshire and has worked for the USDA Forest Service in timber land management in California and as a research assistant for the USDA at Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest in the White Mountains of NH. For 23 years John was Managing Director and lead consultant of an international commercial marketing consultancy and author of numerous specialized global strategic studies.
His clientele included a long list of internationally known people of Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies.
When not working he enjoys being outdoors, on the water or in the woods. He is also a nationally recognized author, collector and authority on the American Civil War. He has lived and raised a family in the local southern Maine community for the past 38 years.
