About Us
We’re a full-service landscaping and tree company working in the greater Maine, New Hampshire, Lakes Region and Seacoast area. We work on projects large and small, commercial and residential, from installations and plantings, to irrigation, night lighting, and just about everything in between. Whether it’s maintaining an existing landscape or starting from scratch, our goal is always the same: to help our clients achieve their perfect landscape. We really like what we do, and we think you’ll like it too.
The Beginning
Our company founder, Booth Hemingway, developed an interest for horticulture early in life. During college, he worked as a gardener for the owner of the New York Times, where he honed his eye for detail and developed his skill set.
Upon graduating from UNH with degrees in Horticulture and Spanish, Booth started Piscataqua Landscaping with a lawnmower, a pickup truck, and a rented space in this old shed.
Forty-five years later, we’re the Seacoast’s largest full-service landscape company. Some things have changed, but our passion for landscaping remains the same.
